FAQ

Tree Services: Common questions

Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
It depends on the town and whether it’s in a protected area/right-of-way. We’ll advise and help coordinate if a permit is required.
Can you work near power lines?
Work around primary lines is coordinated with the utility. For service drops, we follow clearance rules and may schedule a temporary disconnect when needed.
What happens to the wood and chips?
Standard packages include brush chipping and haul-off. Logs are removed or left cut to length on request. Stump chips can be left or hauled away (add-on).
When is the best time to prune?
Most species prune well during dormancy. Some (e.g., oaks) have seasonal restrictions. We’ll recommend timing by species and goals.
